Everything starts from a simple cherry blossom in the shape of which a bench is made that borders the space where the cherry tree is planted, our interlocutors present to us. The cherry blossom creates a link between the story of the custom and our concept. Inspired by flower petals, we designed ergonomic curves that form three different forms of benches.
Benches made of 3D printed concrete are the first examples of such a way of making outdoor furniture exhibited on the island of Krk, and in Croatia as well. Thanks to 3D concrete printing technology, we were able to design free forms of a unique shape with reinforcement seamlessly integrated into the very structure of the benches.
